Sport Ireland and Sport NI have recently made updates to the Online Refresher course for the Safeguarding 1 Workshop. As you will be aware those that have completed the 3-hour workshop are eligible to complete the online refresher when they are due to renew. N.B. The current certificate must be in date for the Refresher to be valid.
With this recent update, participants will need to create an account on the web portal before completing the modules.
A step-by-step guide to completing the refresher, a link to the web portal, and an introduction to the module has been made available by Sport Ireland. The link for the Safeguarding Refresher has been updated on the HSI website and the link to that page is here: https://www.horsesportireland.ie/training/.
