Bridestown Towers Equestrian Centre
Situated in the beautiful Bride Valley in North Cork, Bridestown Towers Equestrian Centre is a modern equestrian facility in the surrounds of a magnificent 18th century Georgian Estate. The equestrian centre at Bridestown was founded in 2003 when Gemma and her brother Philip returned from training and work commitments in the UK and Germany. A handful of stables and even fewer horses and ponies were all that was needed to start there budding enterprise. Over the years adding bit by bit, Bridestown Towers Equestrian Centre (BTEC) has developed into a wonderful sports facility. Now with over 30 stables, indoor and outdoor arenas, horse walker, trekking paths and circa 40 acres of prime grassland, BTEC is above par as far as riding and training establishments are concerned.
Approximately 20 minutes from Cork city, Bridestown Towers EC offers top class riding instruction to adults and children of all skill levels. We specialise mainly in show jumping training, flat work & dressage. Group lessons are run on a per term basis for both half hour and hour lessons. Private lessons are also available, mainly on an own horse/own pony basis.
Summer Camps are offered during most of the school holidays for children aged six and up, and an adult camp is usually held once a year depending on demand.
Our livery facilities are excellent and are kept to a very high standard [details on request]. Clients with horses on livery have the use of a horse walker, indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as small hacks around the secluded farm land.
The centre is approved by the association of Irish riding establishments (A.I.R.E.) and with fully qualified instructors, lessons are available for all levels of riding experience.
