Equestrian International Instructor BHSAI (LCETB Course) Full-Time 49 Weeks
Course to be held at Clonshire Equestrian Centre, Adare, Co. Limerick
This course has been designed in order to provide the Equestrian industry with personnel who are skilled to Equestrian International Instructor Level 1 and B.H.S. Assistant Instructor.
The aim of the course is to provide the trainees with a high standard of skills and knowledge in health and safety, personal effectiveness, stable care, feeding, saddlery and horse clothing, transport, grassland management, horse health, systems of the horse, stabling, riding and teaching.
• Education: Applicants must have achieved a pass in English at Junior Certificate (or equivalent) level.
• Aptitude: Aptitude for horse riding and care. Preference to work outdoors. Tolerance to physical work. Good hand-eye co-ordination.
• Previous Experience: Must be capable of riding a quiet horse or pony at walk, trot and canter.
