BHS Stage 4 Horse Knowledge & Care
If you are working towards taking your BHS Stage 4 exam or have already enrolled for the exam, which will be held at Calliaghstown Riding Centre on 20 October 2010, this course will prepare you.
Starting on Monday, 1 February 2010 at Calliaghstown Riding Centre, Rathcoole, Co Dublin this 8 week course will run from 7 to 9pm each week.

Brief Outline of:-
BHS Horse Knowledge Care and Riding Stage 4
This qualification will provide the holder with the ability to work as a Stable Manager, taking responsibility for yard organisation. They will be able to take charge and look after a number of horses and ponies in a variety of situations, ensuring horses, stables, yard and fields are safe and in good order. They will have the experience to manage staff and students and show an all round knowledge of business matters relating to the equine industry. They will be able to demonstrate the ability to ride, assess and improve horse performance. They will be able to ride and train horses for Elementary Dressage, Novice Horse Trials and Newcomers Show Jumping Competitions.
Holders of the Stage 4 Horse Knowledge, Care and/or Riding will be able to progress to the BHS Stable Manager Certificate and/or BHS Senior Equitation Certificate. The HK& R Stage 4 is a component part of the BHS Intermediate Instructor Certificate
