Partners

AIRE maintains strong working relationships with a number of organizations and bodies. These include:

  1. Failte Ireland and Regional Tourism
    Failte Ireland are of tremendous help to AIRE with marketing and advice to ensure that all of our members know how to offer the friendly and welcoming service that Ireland is world-renowned for. Failte Ireland also provides grant aid for members and for AIRE
  2. Equestrian Federation of Ireland
    AIRE is a constituent member of the Equestrian Federation of Ireland. The EFI seeks grant aid from the Sports council and seeks to provide our members with expertise in development of national schemes such as Coaching
  3. Others organisations such as Coillte (Irish Forestry Board), Duchas (Irish Heritage Council) and Co Councils & local authorities all over Ireland are vital partners of AIRE in enabling us to represent the interests of our members and to seek better use of facilities.
  4. FAS/AIRE Traineeship scheme:
    This is a scheme to train students up to British Horse Society Assistant Instructor level to meet a current shortfall in the industry. It offers full-time training in selected schools and to an agreed syllabus and off the job courses at FAS Training Centres. All courses are fully certifiable and student training and accommodation allowances are available, subject to certain criteria.

    AIRE also offer First Aid Courses and Health and Safety Seminars for members in addition to Amateur Riding and Stable Management Tests. There are ten progressive levels of Riding and Stable Management designed for the amateur rider to provide them with an incentive to improve. A certificate is awarded for each level attained.
  5. Insurance Brokers and Companies
    To ensure fair premiums for members, AIRE have negotiated advantageous premiums with a number of insurance companies. Each insurance provider will provide assistance and advice if/when claims occur and some offer seminars on Health and Safety in order to ensure the minimum number of scenarios where an accident may occur.
